Autonomy in Physical Human-Robot Interaction: A Brief Survey

Sharing the control of a robotic system with an autonomous controller allows human to reduce his/her cognitive and physical workload during execution task. In recent years, development inference learning techniques has widened spectrum applications shared (SC) approaches, leading systems that are capable seamless adaptation their autonomy level. this perspective, (SA) can be defined as design paradigm enables adapting behavior system. This letter collects latest results achieved by research community in field SC SA special emphasis on human-robot interaction (pHRI). Architectures methods developed for discussed throughout letter, highlighting key aspects each methodology. A discussion about open issues concludes letter.
